The day we got lost in the east! I drove for one and a half hour trying to get to Pasir Ris.
We actually travelled almost the whole of the east. Bedok, Ubi, Changi, Paya Lebar, East Coast..
It was quite bad and dangerous (i don't know why but i drove like a road hazard that day) but we had a lot of fun :)

So, i turned 21 almost a month ago. I never intended to celebrate my 21st because i feel it is a chore to have it planned, but i think everyone expects me to. Like my mum, my relatives.. because i've always celebrated my birthdays, and this shouldn't be an exception especially since it's my 21st (it should be even bigger?).
After much consideration, we held a small celebration for my 21st and Mervin's (my cousin) 18th birthday at Mandarin Oriental - Melt, The World Cafe since his was just 3 days away from mine. The spread was hugeeeee but it wasn't good good, it was just okay. But i like the ice cream and waffle! It's one of the better ones, comparable to Gelato and the likes. The bill came up to a whoppingggg $1.4k though. =/ Not worth the money for the food we had, but i had fun. I received a necklace with a heart shaped (looks like a key) pendant from my aunties and uncles, and a long champ bag from my cousins. And a stack of red packets hehehe i'm intending to save the money!
I am blessed with an absolutely amazing family + extended family and i know how fortunate i am to be showered with so much love and attention. They give me the best and only the best if it is within their means. Thank you for always being there, always looking out for my family to make sure we are doing well, for loving me unconditionally. All of you have watched me grow from a tiny little creature to the person i am today. I will work hard to make you proud. Mum: I know how hard it is for you to take care of this family alone, and i appreciate all that you have done for me. :) Almo: I still remember the times we played barbie dolls almost every single day during our younger days. How we run around the school bus every morning trying to slide open all the bus windows before anyone else came onboard. How we used to "cycle" on the sofa. It was probably the most carefree years of our lives. You are my only sister and you are a huge part of my life, just like mum and i love you.
And Fong, thank you for spending almost every single day with me. Putting up with everything, from the incessant nagging to my sometimes unreasonable demands. It may not be the case for you since you had to deal with so much ever since we got together but you are the best thing that has happened to me. I've grown to be so reliant on you and i know sometimes, you feel so pressurized because you have to take care of me. I'm a big girl now, i will learn to take care of myself okay! I'm sorry the past few months haven't been easy, too much shit going on. But i will try to make it better in the months to come. I love you.
Thank you for planning a huge surprise party for me. Haha i knew there was something going on but i never expected you to invite so many people! So thank you love! See now i feel bad i didn't do anything for your 21st! I promise i'll make it up to you okay, by finishing all the handmade gifts i was supposed to a long time ago hahahaha. Maybe i'll buy you a car, if i happen to earn 10k a month next year hahahah you wish!
To my beautiful girlfriends, i am really glad we became friends. I don't think there's any other group that can compare to ours. We have so much fun everytime we hang out. Hehe from the juicy gossips to the constant online shopping madness to the party nights we always have to celebrate an occasion (like the end of our exams, submission of assignments, birthdays etc etc.) to our turtle speed mahjong sessions. PS: Masa & Vic, thank you for coming down late at night to surprise me, it actually feels good to be woken up by the small muffling sounds (it was actually loud and ..clear? but it was so sudden, i was barely awake!) of "Happy Birthday". Haha and thank you for the very expensive Skagen watch i chose! I really like it :) Thank you everyone for your well wishes, be it text messages or on facebook and for taking the time to come for my surprise party. I really appreciate it. All of you make me feel so special. :)
Hahaha so my wish is to graduate with First Class Honours!! I could wish but it wouldn't help, i need to work freakinggggggg hard next semester to get a First Class! Looking at my current results, a Second Upper Class would be much more achievable..

It's the end of the second week of work, well almost.. I still have to work half day tomorrow. Urgh.. i feel like a walking zombie, you can totally see the dark circles under my eyes! I hardly get enough sleep. I worry about the many unpacked boxes at the new house (although boyce is at it right now while i'm at work! hehe) and my dissertation proposal (due tomorrow!! O-M-G GG) and having to dedicate half my day to work makes it almost impossible to do whatever i need.
After work, i have to head back to rush and finish my dissertation proposal (2000 words!). Crap, how do i write a literature review! And i still have to cite references the right way by using Harvard's referencing system. Drained to the maximum.
I probably have to go without sleep tonight, i hope i survive!

I'M EMPLOYED!! HEHEHE
But poor fluffy's gonna be so lonely.. for three months! :( Don't think we left him home alone for such longggg hours before but he'll have to get used to it, i guess! Anyway, we brought him for grooming today. He looks so much cleaner and neater now! Before, his hair was hanging all over, you couldn't even see his eyes hahahaha.
Cat and i went to Joyce's 21st birthday party last night! Liping was supposed to come with us, but she got the date wrong and changed the wrong shift haha. We've all known each other for about 7 years now. But somehow, i guess we've all been too caught up with our own lives, we hardly have time for each other. Maybe we should really make an effort and find some time to hang out again. I'd love that.
Birthday girl! We got her a bracelet from Juicy Couture. DO YOU LIKE IT WOMAN??
TO JOYCE: Anyway, i forgot to tell you why i didn't dress according to the theme last night! I couldn't! I had a neonish top, but my sister wore my shorts the other day and it was still washing and i couldn't pair it with anything elseeeee. I TRIED! But you made me drink a shot, so we're even!
I'm going to end this abruptly like i always do because i have like a MASSIVE headache now, i need to sleep!
